In most places, the crime of possession or sales of stolen property is a specific intent crime, and a conviction can only occur if the State can prove that the defendant knew the property was stolen or should have known that the property was stolen. The second part of that uses the reasonable person argument- so if you get a new pair of $150 Nikes for $5 from a truck on the corner, a reasonable person would know or should have known that the shoes were stolen.
jail beleive me its not fun!!!! beleive me!!!
Death if the original property owners find you.
