Do you mean what are the advantages of placing your property for sale on an online site? Why, its exposure to buyers! Nowhere else would you get a variety of buyers…world wide.

Maybe you can expand on this for your report, but that’s the basic idea.

    Good luck!

US National Assoc. of Realtors survey finds that the buyers that are looking online to locate their home are more educated. They are better qualified to make the purchase. Once they see what they like they are more often ready and able to buy the property when they call into the real estate office.
NAR (natl. ***. realtors) encourages Agents and Brokers to give fullest attention to such callers and inquiries. These folks are ready, willing and able to buy. Of course they will use a real estate agent to represent them throughout the transaction.
Case in point. I had a call come in on a listing I had two counties away from my office. The lady asked a few intelligent questions and asked to see the property. I told her it was a long drive for me. I then asked her several questions about her financing, qualifications, why did she like this property?
and flat out, did she think she would buy this and why. She answered all of my questions. I drove for 45 minutes to meet her and she bought it.
We were both very happy with the results.

well do you mean why is it important to the seller to list it online? Everyone uses the internet for everything nowadays (including getting help with homework!) That is where people start all of their searches. That is were agents look up listings for their clients (in multiple listing services)
